Wite Sox Vs. Angels: Jake Peavy Gets A No Decision In Return, But Chicago Gets 6-4 Win In Extras

It took more than the scheduled nine innings, but the Chicago White Sox were able to complete a late rally against the Los Angeles Angels and earn a 6-4 win in Jake Peavy's first start of the season. Peavy looked solid if unspectacular in his return, giving up four runs on seven its over six innings after missing almost a year following shoulder surgery.

The White Sox trailed by three runs heading into the final two innings, but they scored one run in eighth, and put two up on the board in the ninth to send the game into extras. They got some help from Angels reliever Kevin Jepsen in the tenth inning, as he threw a wild pitch on an intentional walk that allowed Alexei Ramirez to score what would prove to be the winning run from third. Adam Dunn had four hits for the White Sox, including a home run.
