Free agent starting pitcher Mark Buehrle has a number of clubs interested in his services, and one team that could make a push to sign him is Detroit, according to the Detroit News:

The Tigers have several young arms that could be ready to join the starting rotation next season, and as JJ Stankevitz points out, it might make more sense for the Tigers to go with one of their prospects and spend their free agent cash elsewhere.
