Rangers Won't Show "Fight" Video When Ventura Is In Town

Star-divide

New White Sox manager Robin Ventura and Rangers President Nolan Ryan will always have a strange link between them, "The noogie of 1993."  You have all seen the famous video when Ventura charged the mound after being hit by Nolan Ryan and was placed in a headlock by the Ranger Pitcher.

The video is still played before the start of Ranger's home games as part of their pregame video montage used to excite the fans. It just happens that the Rangers will start their 2012 season at home against the White Sox in what will be Robin Ventura's debut as a major league manager.

Ryan told ESPN radio in Dallas, "Well, I think out of fairness to Robin and out of respect to him, I think we probably shouldn't show that when he's in town," Ryan told talk show host Randy Galloway.
