Fire Vs. Bucks Final Score: Chicago Upset In Indoor Game In U.S. Open Cup

The Chicago Fire appeared on track for a 2-1 victory in the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, but the Michigan Bucks would score a pair of late goals to shock the Fire and pull the 3-2 upset. The Fire certainly expected to win their first ever indoor game against the Premier Development League team, but goalkeeper Paolo Tornaghi and the Chicago defense couldn't hold the late lead.

Nermin Crnkic fed Nathaniel Boyden in the 79th minute, who put a header in the back of the net to force overtime. In overtime, Crnkic scored in the third minute and Chicago's final attempts to knot the score fell short.

The Fire fielded a lineup consisting mostly of reserves.
