Brewers Vs. Cubs Preview: Probable Starters, TV Schedule, And More

Stay connected for news and updates

After a brutal 15-4 loss on Monday in which they allowed five home runs, the Chicago Cubs will look to rebound on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Brewers have had the Cubs' number all season, beating them in 11 of 14 contests, including the last seven in a row.

To stop the bleeding, the Cubs will turn to starter Travis Wood (4-10, 4.76 ERA), who has been dominant at times, but dreadful at others.

Wood will need to be on his game, as the Brewers send their ace, Yovani Gallardo, to the hill. Gallardo struggled earlier in the year, but he has posted five consecutive quality starts, lowering his ERA to 3.62 on the season.

The Brewers' bats have been hot recently, and none more so than that of Aramis Ramirez. The third baseman has posted nine RBI and three home runs in his last four games.

Tuesday's game starts at 7:05 CT, and can be found on WGN and FSWI.
