Cubs Vs. Braves: Chris Volstad Still Searching For First Win On Tuesday

The win-loss record for pitchers is something largely ignored by the sabermetric community, but for Chris Volstad there is nothing deceiving about his 0-6 record this season. His 7.46 ERA and 1.61 WHIP explain his troubles with preventing baserunners and big hits in 2012 as well. Volstad hasn't started since May 17, but he was called up for a spot start on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves, so he will have another chance to end his winless streak this season as he starts opposite Braves pitcher Jair Jurrjens.

The Cubs have been awful on the road (11-29) in 2012, but the Braves have exactly inspired confidence at home (18-21), either.

Game 2 Date & Time: Tuesday, June 3, 6:10 p.m. CT

TV: CSN-Chicago
