Cubs Vs. Pirates Preview: Chicago Aims To Claim Series Victory On Tuesday Night

The trade rumors continue to swirl about Matt Garza and Ryan Dempster, so actual Chicago Cubs are more of a secondary thought for fans at this point. However, the team still has games play. On Monday, Jeff Samardzija allowed only one hit over eight innings as the Cubs defeated the Pirates 2-0, so Chicago can earn a series victory by taking game two on Tuesday night. Paul Maholm (8-6, 4.09 ERA) takes the mound for the Cubs, while Pittsburgh turns to impressive right-handed pitcher James McDonald (0-3, 2.93 ERA).

Here is the TV schedule and game time information for Tuesday night:

Game Date & Time: Tuesday, July 24, 6:05 p.m. CT

TV: CSN-Chicago
