MLB All-Star Game 2012: Jake Peavy Unlikely To Pitch Unless Game Goes To Extra Innings

White Sox starter Jake Peavy has been assigned an emergency/extra innings role by the American League coaching staff, according to CSN Chicago's Dan Hayes.

Peavy is 7-5 with a 2.85 ERA in 17 starts this season. He is scheduled to make his first start of the second half against the Royals on Saturday.
