2012 MLB All-Star Game: Lineup, TV Schedule, Streaming And More

The Chicago White Sox could make the 2012 World Series. The Chicago Cubs will not. But the latter's All-Stars could end up playing a crucial role in whether the White Sox, or any other American League team, has home field advantage in the Fall Classic.

The Cubs have two reserves on the National League roster: SS Starlin Castro and 1B/OF Bryan LaHair. Of course, with the way that the All-Star Game usually plays out, those two will be on the field as the game reaches its crucial innings. But, the White Sox's reserves— 1B Adam Dunn, 1B Paul Konerko, P Jake Peavy and P Chris Sale— may be, too.

The starting pitchers for this year's game are Matt Cain for the NL and Justin Verlander for the AL.

Starting lineups can be found here.

Game date/time: Tuesday, July 10, 7:00 p.m. CT

Location: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

TV: Fox

Streaming: MLB.com
