Mets Vs. Cubs: Anthony Rizzo Singles In First At-Bat

Stay connected for news and updates

Anthony Rizzo made his Chicago Cubs debut a successful one on Tuesday night. In his first at-bat for the Cubs, he hit a sharp grounder to short that Ruben Tejada wasn't able to handle, allowing Rizzo to reach first safely.

Cubs official scorer Bob Rosenberg actually scored the play an error but, perhaps succumbing to pressure from the crowd, changed it to a hit.
