The Chicago Cubs are just 10-26 away from Wrigley Field this season. Can they start to turn things around in Arizona against the Diamondbacks?
The Chicago Cubs have been especially awful on the road this season, posting a 10-26 mark away from Wrigley Field, but they will get a chance to build on their road series win over the White Sox when the begin a three-game weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night. Cubs starter Jeff Samardzija (5-5, 4.04 ERA) has suffered through similar issues himself. He owns a puffy 6.00 ERA and 1.78 WHIP over 36.0 innings pitched on the road in 2012. The Diamondbacks will counter with Joe Saunders (4-5, 3.44 ERA), who has stumbled to a 5.01 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over 41.1 innings at home this season.
