Cardinals Vs. Cubs Final Score: Chicago Completes Another Comeback To Defeat St. Louis

For the second consecutive night, the Chicago Cubs have defeated the rival St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field in dramatic fashion. After Bryan LaHair tied the game at 2-2 in the ninth with solo home run, Alfonso Soriano singled in the 10th to drive in Tony Campana on a ball that should have been fielded by St. Louis second baseman Tyler Greene. It wasn't, and Chicago has its first series victory of the season. The Cubs will go to the sweep tomorrow.

Jeff Samardzija pitched great in the start for the Cubs. Samardzija struck out nine and allowed four hits and no earned runs in 6.2 innings for Chicago.

St. Louis finally scored in the eigth and took the lead when Matt Holliday hit a two-run homer to center that also scored shortstop Rafael Furcal.
