Cardinals Vs. Cubs Preview: Chicago Goes For Another Win (Game Time, TV Schedule And More)

The Chicago Cubs scored a satisfying comeback victory over the rival St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, a perfect start to a three-game series at Wrigley Field. Joe Mather smacked a two RBI shot to center field to give Chicago the unlikely win in the ninth inning. The Cubs will go for another victory on Tuesday when Jeff Samardzija opposes Adam Wainwright of St. Louis.

Samardzija enters at 2-1, but was roughed up in just 3.2 innings in his last start against the Miami Marlins, giving up eight hits and five earned runs. The silver lining for Chicago is that Shark has at least been better than Wainwright. St. Louis' 30-year old righty is 0-3 on the season with a 9.88 ERA. Wainwright allowed eight runs in three innings during a 9-5 Cubs victory over the Cards on April 13.

Game Date & Time: Tuesday, April 24, 7:05 pm CT

Location: Wrigley Field; Chicago, IL

TV: Comcast Sports Net
