Dempster has pitched well through his first three starts, finishing at least 6.0 innings while striking out 23 and walking only 8 batters. In his previous start, Dempster pitched 6.0 innings with 8 strikeouts, 2 walks and 2 earned runs. He is still looking for his first win, thought, as he has received a combined 4 runs of support through his first three starts.
