Cubs Vs. White Sox Final Score: Cubs Take 5-1 Victory

The Chicago Cubs met crosstown rivals the Chicago White Sox for the first time this spring on Friday afternoon and came away with a 5-1 win. The Cubs' committee of pitchers, including Travis Wood, Randy Wells and Rodrigo Lopez, limited the White Sox to just four hits on the day.

Chris Sale, who is expected to be a mainstay in the White Sox rotation in 2012, got the start for the south siders and allowed three runs on three hits in three innings of work. But he did strike out four batters.

Marlon Byrd, Edgar Gonzalez and Steve Clevenger homered for the Cubs.
