Chicago Cubs outfielder David DeJesus enjoyed his first season in Chicago despite the Cubs losing 100 games for first time since 1966. "We had a tough year on the ball field, but everything else has been great," said DeJesus, who has experienced his share of 100-loss seasons before with the Kansas City Royals. The outfielder added that he was happy to call Chicago his home town.

DeJesus said the players have to be professionals and "keep moving forward" despite all the losses. He knows the Cubs have a lot of ground to make up, but DeJesus has a positive outlook and hopes Chicago can pick up some more pieces this offseason.

DeJesus likes the Cubs signing of pitcher Scott Baker, saying "he's a quality guy." DeJesus hopes that pitching continues to be the main offseason focus in Chicago.

Last season DeJesus hit .263 with nine home runs, 28 doubles, eight triples, and seven stolen bases while batting leadoff for most of the year.
