Tasty slices of Chicago sports from our editors
In a press release sent out Tuesday, the Cubs announced that tickets for this year's fan convention go on sale Wednesday. They're sixty bucks a pop, but all proceeds benefit Chicago Cubs Charities. And Theo's gonna be there:
Fans can meet and listen to current and former Chicago Cubs players and coaches, including Ernie Banks, Billy Williams and Fergie Jenkins, as well as new President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein at the 27th Annual Cubs Convention on Friday, Jan. 13, through Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Hilton Chicago at 720 South Michigan Ave.
Folks will be able to buy tickets online at the Cubs website. More information on the weekend is available here.
