Chicago Cubs Introduces GM Jed Hoyer And Senior VP Jason McLeod At 3:00 PM Press Conference

Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein is set to formally introduce new front office members Jed Hoyer and Jason McLeod at a press conference at the United Club at Wrigley Field scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein is set to formally introduce two new faces to the organization during a press conference at the United Club at Wrigley Field scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Former San Diego Padres front office members Jed Hoyer and Jason McLeod are the two men set to join the Cubs, with Hoyer becoming the new Executive VP/GM and McLeod becoming the Senior VP heading up scouting and player development.

During Epstein's introductory press conference last week, he spoke of a new found organizational dedication to drafting and developing players from within the system, and it is expected that Hoyer and McLeod will be charged with the task of implementing Theo's vision for success.

The press conference will be carried live on Chicago's The Score 670 AM, and is also available for streaming online.
