A new era for the Chicago Cubs will officially begin tomorrow at 11 a.m., as the Cubs will introduce new President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein at Wrigley Field. Expectations will be high for Epstein, as he comes to Chicago with the hope that he can assemble a team that will propel the Cubs to their first World Series Title since 1908. Epstein does have the pedigree to give fans hope, since he helped put together two championship teams while serving as General Manager and Executive Vice President for the Boston Red Sox, including the 2004 team that put an end to an 86-year championship drought.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Jed Hoyer, who worked with Epstein in Boston as the senior vice president and assistant GM and currently is the General Manager for the San Diego Padres, will likely join Epstein in Chicago as the General Manager. Stay tuned to SB Nation Chicago for information from tomorrow's press conference and Bleed Cubbie Blue for the latest Cubs news.
