The Chicago Bulls worked out free agent big man Kyrylo Fesenko on Monday, according to Fesenko himself. The five-year veteran tweeted that he was in Chicago to work out for the Bulls, but there's been no word since then if the team has serious interest in his services.
Fesenko spent his first four years in the NBA with the Utah Jazz, averaging 2.3 points and 2.0 rebounds a game. In 2012 he appeared in three games for the Indiana Pacers, scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds in 17 minutes.
Maybe the most notable part of the story is the slight gaffe that Fesenko made when he tweeted out the news. Fesenko tweeted that he was excited to go Chicago and see ex-Jazz players Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver, but of course, there was a hitch in his plan.
My bad, people. I didn't know, that Kyle and Ronnie is gone from Chicago. Thank you for info.— Kyrylo Fesenko (@KyryloFesenko) September 23, 2012
Unfortunately, Brewer is now with the New York Knicks and Korver is now with the Hawks.
