The Chicago Bulls have been given 10-to-1 odds to win the 2013 NBA Championship, the fourth-highest in the league.
The horrific knee injury to star point guard Derrick Rose doesn't appear to be scaring many people off when it comes to a 2013 Chicago Bulls title run, as the team currently owns the league's fourth-best odds to take the next NBA Championship, according to VegasInsider.com.
Currently sporting 10-to-1 odds to reign supreme over the league, the Bulls came behind only the Miami Heat (11/5), the Los Angeles Lakers (11/5) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (9/2) as the favorites entering the 2012-13 campaign. After Chicago, however, only the San Antonio Spurs were given better than 20-to-1 odds, as the ageless Tim Duncan and company opened in fifth overall at 15-to-1.
Projected as 9-to-2 favorites to win the Eastern Conference, with the Heat set at an unbelievable 4-to-7 mark, the Bulls are statistically three times as likely to win a title as the Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers according to Vegas, and four times more likely than the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets.
