Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld.com is reporting the Chicago Bulls appear to be contending for the services of SG Marco Belinelli:

It sounds like Marco Belinelli and the Chicago Bulls are in advanced talks. Nothing imminent, but he may sign for the bi-annual exception.

Belinelli, a native of Bologna, Italy, played in all 66 games for the New Orleans Hornets in the 2011-12 NBA season with 55 starts. The 26-year-old veteran averaged 14.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per 36 minutes, but had only a 10.91 player efficiency rating.

The Bulls currently have SG Richard Hamilton in their starting rotation, but appear to be looking for a replacement for the recently-departed SG Ronnie Brewer.
