Bulls Vs. 76ers Final Score, Game 5: Chicago Survives With 77-69 Victory

It certainly wasn't pretty, but the Chicago Bulls got the win the team so desperately needed on Tuesday night at the United Center. Chicago prolonged its season with a 77-69 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers to push the best-of-seven series in the first round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs to 3-2. Game 6 is Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Luol Deng was brilliant for the Bulls in victory. Deng had 24 points and eight rebounds and make multiple cluth three-pointers in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Carlos Boozer had 19 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists in the win on 9-of-20 shooting. Taj Gibson, who injured in ankle in the third quarter but would return, added eight points, seven rebounds and four blocks off the bench.

Philadelphia shot just 32 percent from the field. Jrue Holiday scored 16 points in the loss.
