Bulls Vs. 76ers Score Update, Game 5: Chicago Leads 17-16 After 1st Quarter

The Chicago Bulls need to win three straight games to avoid becoming the fifth No. 1 seed ever to fall to a No. 8 seed in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. After one quarter in Game 5, Chicago leads 17-16.

Small forward Luol Deng leads the Bulls with nine points after hitting a three-pointer to put the Chicago on top with just seconds remaining in the first quarter. Richard Hamilton has four points for Chicago. Ronnie Brewer scored two points in the first quarter.

Philadelphia ended the first quarter with six turnovers. Lavoy Allen is 3-for-3 from the field with six points. Elton Brand has four points. Evan Turner has two points and already has seven rebounds for the 76ers.
