Joakim Noah Injury: Noah Suffers Gruesome Ankle Injury (VIDEO)

There's turning an ankle, and then there's what happened to Joakim Noah's left ankle in the third quarter of Game 3 on Friday night vs. the Philadelphia 76ers. On a drive to the hoop, Noah stepped on the foot of Sixers forward Andre Igoudala and ended up with the side of his foot completely parallel to the floor as his foot and ankle made a near-perfect 90 degree angle.

If there's such a thing as a stomach-turning ankle... turn, this is it.

Noah attempted to play through the injury but quickly returned to the locker room, where he's watched the Bulls slowly let their third quarter lead slip away.
