The Chicago Bulls will try to avoid elimination on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6 of the teams' first round series in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.
The Chicago Bulls will try to avoid becoming the fifth No. 1 seed ever to lose in the first round of the NBA playoffs on Thursday when they visit the Wells Fargo Center. The Philadelphia 76ers hold a 3-2 lead going into Game 6 of the best-of-seven series. The Bulls won Game 5 on their home court on Tuesday, but they'll have to win their first road game of the series to get things back to Chicago on Saturday for Game 7.
The series has been a sloppy affair with both teams struggling to shoot over 40 percent from the field every night. Health is a serious concern for Chicago: power forward Taj Gibson and center Joakim Noah are reach nursing ankle injuries. Noah suffered his sprain in Game 3 and hasn't played since. Gibson was injured in the third quarter of Game 5, but would return to help key the Chicago victory.
Game Date & Time: Thursday, May 9 6:00 p.m. CT
Location: Wells Fargo Center; Philadelphia, PA
TV: Comcast SportsNet
