While Bulls fans are seeing stars after Derrick Rose's season ended on Saturday with a torn ACL, ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell was kind enough to note that things could get even worse from here for the team.
While Rose's injury is likely to keep him out for the beginning of next season, Friedell notes that he may not be the only key Bulls player ailing early next season:
What gets lost in Rose injury is that if Deng has to have surgery after season, Bulls will start next year without their top 2 players.— Nick Friedell (@ESPNChiBulls) April 29, 2012
It's a pretty scary thought for most Bulls fans. A projected lineup without Rose and Deng would be sorely lacking in terms of scoring ability and depth, although we've seen this team trek through injuries before.
