2012 NBA Standings: Chicago Bulls Magic Number Down To 1 For No. 1 Seed In East

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Bulls are on the verge of clinching the No. 1 seed in the 2012 Eastern Conference playoffs -- they're two games ahead of the Miami Heat as the final week of the regular season begins. With two games left, Chicago's magic number is one. That means that any Bulls win or Miami Heat loss gives the top seed to Chicago.

Here's how the final week of the regluar season looks for each team.

Chicago: at Indiana, vs. Cleveland
Miami: at Boston, at Washington

Miami will be in Boston on Tuesday night, and if the Heat don't lose then, the Bulls will have the chance to take care of it themselves against Indiana on Wednesday. They'll finish out the regular season against the Cavaliers on Thursday.
