Tyrus Thomas Incident: Former Bulls Forward In Trouble Again After Fight With Coach

Tyrus Thomas was often characterized as a talented but misunderstood forward during his tenure with the Chicago Bulls, and it appears Thomas has been unable to outgrow his problems in Charlotte now as a member of the Bobcats. Thomas got into a tussle with Bobcats coach Paul Silas after Charlotte's 94-82 loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday, a defeat that dropped the Bobcats to a league-worst 7-53.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Silas, upset Thomas was talking to Celtics players on the court during the game, got into a yelling match in the locker room. When Thomas answered back, Silas shoved the forward back into his locker.

The Bobcats GM Rod Higgins said both parties have been fined:

"There was an incident," Higgins told Y! Sports. "We handled it internally and talked to both the player and the coach and moved on. End of story."

Thomas played 21 minutes and scored seven points on 3-of-10 shooting for Charlotte during a Monday loss to the Hornets.

The Bobcats host the Bulls tonight.
