The Chicago Bulls, struggling with injuries all season long, may have a chance to land free agent PG Derek Fisher according to Marc Stein of ESPN:
Word is Clippers, by contrast, are unlikely to pursue Fisher, who is said to have strong interest in landing with either Chicago or Miami
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) March 19, 2012
Fisher, who started the season with the Los Angeles Lakers, recently reached a buyout agreement with the Houston Rockets, making the 37-year-old veteran a free agent. Fisher has played 15 NBA seasons, mostly with the Lakers, and over the last three seasons, he has averaged 9.1 PTS and 3.6 AST per 36 minutes.
Owing to his time on strong Lakers teams, Fisher also has five championships to his record.
