The Chicago Bulls have been on fire of late -- they've won three in a row and nine of 10 -- and suddenly find themselves with a 3.5 game lead on the Miami Heat for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, which could prove a huge difference maker should those two teams meet in the conference finals. But that's far down the line.
This weekend, the Bulls try to keep the good play going as they host the Trail Blazers and 76ers. The full schedule is here, and this is the weekend ahead:
Friday, March 16: vs. Portland Trail Blazers (7:00 p.m. CT, CSN)
The Trail Blazers have really struggled of late, and they're well out of the playoff picture in the West, which was enough to cost coach Nate McMillan his job. It remains to be seen how this team responds to that change.

Saturday, March 17: vs. Philadelphia 76ers (7:00 p.m. CT, WGN)
Philadelphia holds a tenuous 1.5 game lead on Boston in the Atlantic Division, which right now is the difference between the No. 4 seed in the East and the No. 7.
