On the day that the NBA announced it's reserves for this year's all-star game in Orlando, Bulls and White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf stated he has no desire to host another NBA all-star game. In an interview with ESPN Chicago , Reinsdorf made the following statements:
"They'd have to force me to take the All-Star Game," Jerry Reinsdorf said. "They take over the building, your season-ticket holders have to be in a lottery to see if they get tickets and then they don't get a good ticket. Really, no good can come out of it and all it can do is upset your fans."
The last time the Bulls hosted the all-star game was back in 1988 at the old Chicago Stadium. That weekend was highlighted by the epic Michael Jordan vs Dominique Wilkins slam dunk competition.
