2012 NBA standings: Bulls lead Central Division

The Chicago Bulls are a half game ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks in the Central Division.

The Chicago Bulls are 12-9 and a half-game ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks (11-9) in the Central Division after both teams won on Wednesday night. The Bucks have won three straight and are making a push after a two-week slump. The Indiana Pacers are one-and-a-half games back of the Bulls at 11-11.

At the bottom of the Central Division, the Detroit Pistons are six-and-a-half games behind the Bulls at 7-17 and the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-18) sit eight games off the lead.

The New York Knicks have the best record in the Eastern Conference and lead the Atlantic Division with a 16-5 mark. The Miami Heat have the second-best record in the conference at 14-6 and hold a half-game lead over the Atlanta Hawks (13-6) in the Southeast Division.

The Bulls are currently the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, although they have the same record as the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics at 12-9.
