New Orleans Hornets rookie, Chicago native and No. 1 overall draft pick Anthony Davis missed Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls due to a concussion, but Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau still praised the rookie after the game.

"Amazing," Thibodeau said of Davis to Aggrey Sam of Comcast Sports Net Chicago. "He's a really skilled player. He's a basketball player. He does everything. He can shoot, he can put it on the floor, he can pass, play great defense, great timing, shot-blocking, great quickness. He's going to be a great pro."

The Hornets beat the Bulls on Saturday, 89-82. The Hornets had previously lost eight straight to Chicago.

Davis has played in two games, averaging 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 56 percent from the field. He scored 21 points with 7 rebounds in his NBA debut, but only played 14 minutes in his second game after receiving the concussion.
