Chicago Bulls Injury Update: Luol Deng, C.J. Watson Out Against Miami

The Chicago Bulls will be without a pair of key players as they suit up to play the Miami Heat on Sunday, as Ethan J. Skolnick of the Palm Beach Post reports that small forward Luol Deng and point guard C.J. Watson are out. He adds that Richard Hamilton will be a game-time decision as he tests himself during warmups.

The hope was that Deng would be able to return in time to play against Miami after missing the past few games, but the Bulls will once again be starting Ronnie Brewer at small forward in his place. He's still dealing with the wrist injury that's kept him out recently, although Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau has said that he could still return for Monday's game against the Washington Wizards.

Watson's absence is relatively unexpected, as the guard played well against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. Like Deng, he's dealing with a wrist injury. He likely won't be out for long.
