Bulls Vs. Bobcats Score Update: Bulls Lead 50-43 At The Half

The Chicago Bulls (14-3) lead the Charlotte Bobcats (3-12) at the half by a score of 50-43 at halftime. The Bulls enter the game unusually shorthanded: PG Derrick Rose continues to struggle with his dislocated toe, and few expected him to play Saturday night, but Bulls fans were shocked at gametime when not only F Taj Gibson and PG John Lucas III but also star C Joakim Noah proved too unwell to play.

With the four key Bulls sitting on Saturday night, the Bulls gave second-year pro C Omer Asik his first career start at center. The Turkish big man has rewarded the Bulls, snatching 5 rebounds and a pair of field goals through the first half.

Leading the Bulls is All-Star candidate F Luol Deng with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists -- closely followed by G C.J. Watson with 11 points. The Bulls look to keep the pressure applied in the second, despite having to turn to backups like F Brian Scalabrine in the first half.
