The Chicago Bulls have had some issues on the injury front early in the 2011-12 season, but it hasn't stopped the team from running out to an impressive 12-2 start; that record is easily the best in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls enter the week winners of five in a row and nine of 10, and they have an opportunity to keep the success coming as they face three teams with losing records in the week ahead.
The full Chicago Bulls schedule is here, and as for this week:
Jan. 16: at Memphis Grizzlies (12:00 p.m. CT, WGN and ESPN)
The Grizzlies were crushed in Chicago on Jan. 1, which will be a source of motivation on Monday afternoon. Rudy Gay leads the team in scoring.
Jan. 17: vs. Phoenix Suns (7:00 p.m. CT, CSN)
Steve Nash is still handing out assists by the bushel, but this Suns team appears to be a shadow of the squads that competed for Western Conference titles in recent memory.
Jan. 20: at Cleveland Cavaliers (6:30 p.m. CT, CSN)
The Cavs have won five of 11 games this season after winning 19 all of last year, which counts as progress for a franchise still coping with the departure of LeBron James, but it's a team that still has a lot of rebuilding ahead of it.
