The Bulls rolled over Memphis on Sunday but were dealt a bit of bad news when C.J. Watson suffered an elbow injury in the fourth quarter that left him in serious pain. According to ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell, Watson suffered a sprained left elbow and will undergo and MRI on Monday.
In other injury news, shooting guard Richard Hamilton was a late scratch because of a sore groin.
"He had a tweak (during the Clippers game)," Thibodeau said. "We wanted to play it safe."
Corey Brewer started in Hamilton's place and responded with a good offensive effort -- he scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 35 minutes.
