Derrick Rose Extension: Rose Wants To Finish Career In Chicago

Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls currently have more important issues at hand than the state of his entire career— namely figuring out a way to dethrone the Miami Heat as Eastern Conference champions— but Rose did indicate on Sunday that, if he had the choice, he would like to play his entire career in his hometown of Chicago.

Rose was asked prior to the Bulls' 88-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers whether he would like to emulate the career of Kobe Bryant, who will likely play his entire career for the storied Lakers. Rose's response:

"For sure. There's no other team I think I would rather be on than the Chicago Bulls. Me living in another city, no. (Chicago is) just a perfect place for me."
