The Chicago Bulls (0-0) begin the 2011-2012 NBA Preseason on Friday night, squaring off against the Indiana Pacers (0-0) in Indianapolis.

The Bulls finished the 2010-2011 season with an NBA-best 62-20 record, 25.0 games ahead of the Pacers. With most of their roster returning for the 2011-2012 campaign, the Bulls feature very few new faces in their lineup. However, they do have a new guard in Richard Hamilton.

With the Bulls having the affectionately-named "Rip" Hamilton under contract for less than two full days, it appears unlikely the former long-time member of the Detroit Pistons will be playing much or at all in Friday's contest. Hamilton brings with him not only a career 17.7 points per game rate, but also a possible final piece to an already impressive Bulls team.
