Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – D.J. Augustin led a balanced Charlotte attack with 15 points and five assists, and the Bobcats topped the Chicago Bulls, 83-82, at the United Center.
Gerald Wallace grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds to go along with 13 points, while both Stephen Jackson and Boris Diaw added 12 points apiece for Charlotte, which snapped a three-game skid.
Derrick Rose led the Bulls with a game-high 33 points. Ronnie Brewer added 12 points in a reserve role and Luol Deng contributed 10 points and eight rebounds for Chicago, which played without Carlos Boozer for its second straight game as he rests a sprained left ankle.
The Bulls had a eight-game home winning streak snapped.
