Michael Jordan Takes LeBron James To Task. Or Does He?

Is this a commercial made by former Bulls superstar Michael Jordan taking LeBron James to task for his pretentious and narcissistic Nike commercial, and his selfish acts and attitude? Or is it something else?

It's something else, of course. Via tweet from South Florida Sun-Sentinel Miami Heat beat writer Ira Winderman, we learn that it's just a well-edited mashup of LeBron's commercial intercut with a Jordan commercial from 2008.

YouTube Jordan-LeBron commercial a spoof. Another example of anything goes social-media age. Jumpman vs. Nike simply not going to happen.less than a minute ago via txt

Still, it's brilliantly edited and the message is clear: Grow up, LeBron, and stop making excuses. Or the rest of the sports world (outside of Miami) is going to continue to root for you to fail.

Root for LeBron?

After the way the team has been playing, are you sure anyone’s rooting for LeBron right now? Excellent video! Brilliant for bringing in MJ.
