Bulls Work Out Two Point Guards, But No Decision Made Yet

Stay connected for news and updates

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune updates us on the Chicago Bulls’ search for another point guard:

The Bulls worked out Patrick Beverley and Sundiata Gaines, a source said, but they haven’t decided if they will add a 14th, non-guaranteed, contract

Beverley, a Chicago native, became available when the Miami Heat waived him before the season started. He has no NBA experience.

Gaines appeared in 32 games last season for the Utah Jazz as a D-League call-up, averaging 3.3 points and 1.2 assists. The Jazz declined to bring him back for a second season.

At present, the Bulls’ only point guards are Derrick Rose and C.J. Watson.
