Jamal Mayers scored the goal for Chicago, which came at the 11:37-mark of the period. Chicago out-shot Minnesota 10-3 and had a pair of power play opportunities, though they were unable to convert on either of those.

The Blackhawks are in sixth in the West and can finish no lower than that; they're two points behind fifth place Nashville and three points behind fourth place Detroit.
