The Blackhawks' charter flight out of Phoenix was delayed about six hours on Sunday, pushing the team's arrival in Chicago back from early afternoon to 7:41 p.m. CT. The team took the delay in stride, according to Brent Seabrook.
"I don’t know what happened," defenseman Brent Seabrook said. "The guys were all upbeat, hanging out downstairs, having lunch together. It's not a bad thing. It's good to be around the guys this time of year.
After getting off the plane, Jonathan Toews said his plan was simply to go home and go to bed.
