Blackhawks Vs. Coyotes Score Update: Nick Leddy Ties The Game At 1-1

The Chicago Blackhawks, lingering on the brink of elimination, have managed to tie the game with only minutes remaining in the third period. The Blackhawks missed a key opportunity early in the third period as the Phoenix Coyotes spoiled a power play following an C Antoine Vermette penalty.

But D Nick Leddy took advantage of the increased Chicago pace and aggressiveness and fired a long shot past G Mike Smith for a game-tying goal. Here is video of the shot:

Meanwhile, LW Viktor Stalberg has drawn all four of the Blackhawks' penalties -- all minor -- but the team has managed to fend off the Coyotes attack to keep the game locked at one each.
