Raffi Torres Suspension: Ruling From NHL Will Come On Saturday

Stay connected for news and updates

Phoenix Coyotes forward Raffi Torres has already missed one playoff game after an illegal hit to Chicago's Marian Hossa -- a hit that sent Hossa to the hospital. On Friday afternoon, Torres met with the NHL to discuss the matter, but the league will not make a ruling until Saturday.

The NHL said Friday that it will not announce it's decision regarding Torres' suspension until Saturday. Torres had an in-person hearing with NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan at noon on Friday at the league's New York offices.

Chicago will definitely be without Hossa for Game 5, which is set for 9:00 p.m. CT on Saturday.
