Andrew Shaw Hit: Ruling From NHL Won't Come Until Tuesday

Stay connected for news and updates

ESPN Chicago's Jesse Rogers updated the Andrew Shaw situation on Monday evening; the Chicago Blackhawks forward isn't going to hear the league's ruling on his hit until Tuesday. Rogers speculates that it could be tied to Mike Smith's status for Tuesday night's game.

Rogers guesses that either both will play, or both won't.

Shaw met with officials in the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Monday, and most expected a decision from the league later in the day.
