The Chicago Blackhawks have left little doubt in Columbus so far, as they scored three goals in the game's first 10 minutes, and they appear to be well on their way to their fourth win in a row.
Andrew Shaw started the scoring with a goal at the 4:12-mark, his 10th of the season. Patrick Sharp scored for Chicago about two minutes after that, and Brent Seabrook scored the team's third goal about two minutes after Sharp's goal.
Columbus actually finished the period with an 11-10 edge in shots on goal, and both teams have won 10 faceoffs.
