The Chicago Blackhawks entered the third period against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night behind by a goal, and they were unable to mount any sort of rally, falling 3-1. The loss is the third in a row for the Blackhawks, who appear to be struggling again.
Anaheim's Teemu Selane notched the only goal of the period, which came on the power play about five minutes in. It was his 21st goal of the season. For the game, Anaheim out-shot Chicago 38-19, and the Blackhawks managed a total of nine shots on goal over the final two periods.
The Blackhawks return the ice on Wednesday when they host Toronto.
